Listen to your life.
See it for the fathomless mystery it is.
In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness:
touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden heart of it,
because in the last analysis all moments are key moments,
and life itself is grace.

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION
Life is a sacred gift. But the complexities and traumas of life can make those gifts seem elusive and less than holy. Everybody, therefore, needs a companion along the way, someone who can “hear others into their own story.”
As a spiritual director, Elizabeth relies on deep, prayerful listening and discernment in order to—like a mid-wife—companion others into the birth and embrace of these gifts. Convinced that God is present and at work in the most ordinary of circumstances, Elizabeth helps her companions to listen for the voice of Love in their everyday lives.
YOGA
YOGA MEANS UNION, TO UNITE OR BRING TOGETHER, REPRESENTING A DEEPENING CONNECTION, OF BODY, MIND, AND SPIRIT. AS YOGA PRACTITIONERS, WE SEEK TO STRENGTHEN THAT CONNECTION AND INTEGRATION; AS PEOPLE OF FAITH WE DESIRE A DEEPENING UNION WITH GOD.
WE COME TO THE PRACTICE OF YOGA TO ATTEND TO BODY, MIND AND SPIRIT; TO OPEN OURSELVES MORE FULLY TO ENDLESS LOVE, THE FOUNDATION ON WHICH OUR SOUL STANDS.
“God is closer to us than our own soul, for God is the foundation on which our soul stands and is the means which keeps the substance and the sensuality together, so that they will never separate. For our soul sits in God in true rest, and our soul stands in God in sure strength, and our soul is naturally rooted in God in endless love.”
